Adult Formation and Evangelization ministry works to cultivate a parish community of joyful disciples by introducing all people to Jesus Christ through the sacraments, catechesis, and spiritual formation.
If you’re looking for God through spiritual growth, theology and catechesis, or robust community life, start by getting a glimpse into our ministries at St. Louis.
A.C.T.S. Retreats create an environment and opportunity for women and men to focus on their relationship with the Lord, its application in their daily lives; to build purpose in their prayer life, and to cultivate friendship and fellowship among members of the community. (Women’s and Men’s retreats are held separately.) A.C.T.S is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology, Service.
Catholic Scripture Study
Meets Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11:30 a.m., starting September 9 through May 2019 in the sanctuary of St. Louis Church. Through the study of Scripture, it provides spiritual formation that fosters a closer relationship with Christ through prayer, small group discussion and guest speakers. It is open to both men and women and follows the Austin Independent School District calendar for holidays.
This year's study is based on Steve Ray's talks on the Acts of the Apostles. Please register below so you can be assigned to a study group.
Fellowship of Catholic Men
All men over the age of 18 are invited to participate, sharing Scripture, spiritual reading and their faith. The group meets each Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m., in the narthex. For more information, contact Steve Watkins at email@example.com or (512) 836-4777.
