Baptism is the beginning of new life in Christ. Through the waters of baptism, we are:

BORN INTO NEW LIFE: We are spiritually reborn as God’s children and united with him.

CLEANSED OF ALL  SIN:  ALL our sins are forgiven and we are  given the grace to fight future temptation.

RECEIVING THE HOLY SPIRIT: We first receive the Holy Spirit as comforter, guide and strength for living a Christian life.

MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH: We are received into the Body of Christ, the Church.
