Bereavement Care and Share

Mission

St. Louis Parish Care and Share Ministry is an outreach program that provides a source of food and comfort to our REGISTERED parish families grieving the loss of a loved one.

When a REGISTERED parishioner’s immediate family (spouse/children) has died, the Bereavement Committee will respond to the family with a call, offering them a meal for up to 25, preferably in the home, but if necessary in Wozniak Hall WHEN it is available. A Mass is offered for the deceased if the family does not need food.

Bereavement Committee

This committee is composed of several groups each with it’s own leader. Our groups serve in rotation. If someone has signed up and is unable to help when called, they may be available with the next rotation. Various services of the groups include donating food to be delivered to the family’s home and/or when available, helping serve at Wozniak Hall. Occasionally we help serve at a family home or another hall.
