Early Childhood MinistryMissionThe St. Louis Early Childhood Development Center, a ministry of St. Louis King of France Catholic Church, ministers to children and their families. We foster faith in God, empathy, acceptance, and respect toward self and others. We encourage children to think, reason, question, experiment, and develop decision-making skills. We offer a "hands-on" approach for children
to learn about God and the world around them. Our teachers develop learning centers in the classroom to nurture:
Welcome to the Early Childhood Development Center
We are a faith based Center that offers a hands-on approach to learning about God and the world around us. The Center is accredited with the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs. The Center uses a variety of teaching methods to enhance the learning of every child. We combine Montessori, Emergent Curriculum, and High Scope teaching methods to be able to teach the whole child how God intended him to learn.
The Center is interwoven into the St. Louis School through various events and programs to help make the transition from preschool to elementary school successful.
Our Center accepts children age 18 months to 4 years of age. Classes are from 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m., with extended hours before and
after.
