Protecting God's Children is a diocesan workshop offered to anyone who volunteers or any paid staff or clergy, who serve minors or vulnerable adults in a parish, school or diocesan setting. St. Louis Church and School have made this workshop a requirement for all volunteers and staff. Volunteers/staff are encouraged to attend if you have already not done so. Workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12 Noon in Wozniak Hall.
Reservations MUST be made in advance so that adequate materials will be available. Call (512) 454-0384 ext 238 to register. You may inquire about child care. Materials used in the workshop include testimonies from victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse.
If you have concerns regarding your attendance at the workshop, please call the Diocesan Communications Office at (512) 697-2046 to arrange an alternative arrangement for training. You may check other workshop dates/times on the Diocesan Web site.
