Lifelong Christian FormationThrough our liturgies, our school and our Lifelong Christian Formation (LCF) programs, we strive to present the teachings of Christ to parishioners of all ages and levels of faith. The LCF program is based on the reality that being a Catholic Christian is a journey that is continuous. Lifelong...because throughout life, our understanding of and relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit evolves and deepens. Christian...because we are all baptized (initiated) into Jesus' life and death, to be members of His Church, and to carry on His mission as disciples. Formation...because being a Catholic Christian is a lifelong journey of growth in a mature understanding of ourselves, our faith and our God through prayer, learning and study, community worship, family and friends, in witness and service to the world. To meet these beliefs, St. Louis has: Early Childhood Development Center for preschoolers St. Louis School for grades K - 8 Childhood Ministry for our grade school-age parishioners Youth Ministry (Grades 6 thru 12) Mothers of Preschoolers for expectant mothers and mothers of young children Adult & Family Ministry for adults Ministerios Hispanos de Adultos y Familias Senior Ministry for our senior parishioners In addition, St. Louis has a Christian Initiation of Families (CIF) program. This program involves weekly sessions for parents and their school-age children who are unbaptized or who have been baptized in another faith; or need to celebrate the sacraments of Eucharist, confirmation or reconciliation.
