About the Library
The library was established in the 1970s by Wylla Labas, a parishioner
who started with a cart of books in the back of the church. Today
the library is housed in what once was our parish sanctuary. Known
as the Parish Education Center, the PEC is also home to our religious
education program, youth ministries, and the site of a wide variety of
parish events.
The current librarian is Theresa (Tessa) Sismilich,
a facility patron for many years before becoming librarian in 1995. Tessa
dedicates much time, energy, and resources in order to provide reading,
viewing and listening materials that are of interest to all of our patrons.
