A.C.T.S.

A.C.T.S. Retreats create an environment and opportunity for women and men to focus on their relationship with the Lord, its application in their daily lives; to build purpose in their prayer life, and to cultivate friendship and fellowship among members of the community.  (Women’s and Men’s retreats are held separately.)  A.C.T.S is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology, Service.

Catholic Scripture Study

Meets Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11:30 a.m.,  now through May 2018 in the sanctuary of St. Louis Church.   Through the study of Scripture, it provides spiritual formation that fosters a closer relationship with Christ through prayer, small group discussion and guest speakers.  It is open to both men and women and follows the Austin Independent School District calendar for holidays.

The 2017-2018 study will be on Mary and Luke.   Registration in advance is requested so that participants can be assigned to study groups and workbooks ordered.

Fellowship of Catholic Men

All men over the age of 18 are invited to participate, sharing Scripture, spiritual reading and their faith. The group meets each Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m., in the narthex. For more information, contact Steve Watkins at slwatki@sbcglobal.net or (512) 836-4777.

Children are welcome at all gatherings. Please email St.LouisMOYC@gmail.com with any questions.

The King's Men

The King’s Men is a place where the men of St. Louis parish come together to learn how to deepen their relationships with Jesus Christ, their families and their community to help them live their faith in everyday life. The King’s Men meets on Friday mornings in Wozniak Hall. Doors open at 5:30 a.m. and the meetings ends at 7:30 a.m. promptly. You’ll eat breakfast, hear a message, and have great fellowship before your work day begins. Join us beginning September 15th as Fr. Doug guides us through the Humanum Series.

Women of Faith

Women of Faith is a women’s spiritual enrichment group that explores the feminine genius of being created in God’s image.  Through prayer and various forms of media, we learn how we can live out our discipleship as Catholic women in the workplace, our community, and our homes.
